April 15-18 - Sally Seago - Oils - $80/day
Our Premier Romantic Impressionist. Known for her lyrical landscapes in oil, she is great for any level artist. She encourages creativity & individual style.
June 23-27 - Deborah von Zink - Mixed media - $325
Deborah is an amazing impressionistic portrait artist. Learn all elements of painting a portrait beginning with pencil sketch, composition thru to color.
July 7-11 - Howard Rees - Watercolor Landscapes - $450
World renown professional artist & instructor. Howard's favorite saying is "less is more" . A wonderful teacher who has a great command of "negative space".
July 17-19 - David Mallory - Any opaque medium - $275
Brings a dramatic, impressionistic style with vivid colors and an enthusiastic brush stroke to his teaching style. Teaches composition and color theory as well.
July 21-23 - Fred Ekman - Pencil and Watercolor - $150 1/2 day class 9-1
Fred will teach his simplified drawing technique that leads to beautiful watercolor paintings. Combines composition, drawing and pen & ink for great paintings. Designed to be a solid basis for any painting. Fun, Fast & Fabulous
July 30-Aug 2 - Bill Blackman - Oil - $325
An excellent instructor for the beginner as well as the advanced student. Bill uses a limited palette combined and an excellent color mixing theory to create landscapes with unity and depth.
Aug 11-15 - Bill Halopoff - Pencil, Graphite, Charcoal, - $395
This is a college level, intensive perspective & architectural drawing class. Many of his students have gone on to professional careers in graphic design and architecture. This is a good foundation class for anyone seriously interested in art.
Aug 20-22 - Wes Lee - Mixed Media - $195
Wes is new to us this year. He is an award winning artist who will be teaching a special class in composition and color.
Aug 26-30 - Joyce Ortner - Oil - $475
Our other premier romantic impressionist. Internationally known for romantic land & seascapes. Brilliant use of light & color.
